The Action Alliance political party in Ogun State has held its primary election for her candidates who will represent the party in the up coming local government election.

The election was held at the party secretariat in Abeokuta, the state capital, in line with rules and regulations and monitored by Ogun State Independence Electoral Commission (OGSIEC).

The elected chairmen resulted from the  primary election under the platform of the Action  Alliance were, Lateef Akinboro for Ifo local government, Okufeso Adeoye, Odogbolu Local government, Mr. Akinpelu Ishola, Yewa south local government.

Party leadership

In the same line, the councilorship candidates includes, Princess Adebiyi Olubunmi (Agbado-Ifo LGA), Monday Olawunmi (Yewa South), Dawodu Olumayowa (Abeokuta North), Adepena Rahim Temitope (Yewa South), Adeniji AKeem (Ijebu), Iskilu Babatunde (Coker Ifo), Kuforiji (Ijebu-Ode), Olufemi Oyedele (Odeda).

Razortimes futher reports that, the chairman of OGISIEC, Barrister Babatunde Osibodu represented by Commsioner I, Mr Tunji Akoni alongside Adminstration ofyficer, Mr Mabadeje . A., assured the aspirants that the local government election is going to be free, fair, and transparent.

“Be assured that your votes will count as the election is going to be free, fair, and transparent.

Don’t involve in political hooliganism, or electioneering violence, whatever you think is going wrong, don’t hesitate to report to the OGISIEC office”

The state chairman of the party Hon Sanyaolu Ayobami in his remarks appreciated the members and official of OGISIEC, urging all members of the party to embrace peace and unity during and after the election as the party is known to be a party of peace that is working towards the development of humanity and the state.
