Buhari commends Gov Abiodun’s developmental stride in Ogun

The Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun had again been commended for his ongoing developmental stride across the three senatorial district of the State.

The Oniwoye of Iwoyeland, Oba Buhari Ololade who gave the commendation while speaking with OGIS correspondent in his Iwoye palace, described the Governor as an hardworking Governor who does not make noise about his achievement.

The monarch pointed out that, Prince Dapo Abiodun within short period in office as the State Governor has achieved a lot especially in the area of infrastructural provision across the State.

According to him, “I want to commend the efforts of our Governor. I have been following him; sincerely, the Governor has done well especially in the area of infrastructural provision across the three senatorial district of the state. He is doing the work silently and does not make noise about it. He is an hardworking Governor.

“We can see what he is doing on road infrastructure. The Ijebu-Ode – Epe road is almost completed, Owode – Ilaro road is ongoing, Atan – Erunwon road nearing completion. Also, the ongoing Panseke- Adigbe road in Abeokuta, the completed Alogi -Obantoko road including the almost completed Sagamu – Abeokuta road construction amongst others.

“Also, in area of housing provision, he has done well. I understand that, there is ongoing housing project at Kobape and Idi-Aba in Abeokuta and the Governor has extended the housing scheme project to Ota, Ilaro and Sagamu. He is also doing well in the area of qualitative health provision, and agricultural production. He has upgraded the State Hospital, Ilaro to international standard.

In education, the Governor is doing fine as well. Provision of building infrastructure in every ward of each Local Government across the State. There is no ward in every Local Government of the State that you will not find a yellow roof building put in place by Governor Dapo Abiodun”.

Oba Buhari Ololade called on indigenes of Iwoye and foreign investors to come and invest in the area pointing out that there was enough land to explore and the town is peaceful.

He appealed to the Governor to provide the town with a primary health centre and more primary and secondary schools, adding that efforts is ongoing to secure Police Station for the town.

Oba Buhari Ololade called on citizens of Iwoye and Yewaland at large to continue to give adequate support and cooperation to the Prince Dapo Abiodun led government in the State with assurance that the Governor would fulfill all his electoral promises. #
