Gov. Abiodun’ll fulfil his electoral promises – LG boss

Citizens of Ogun State have again been reassured of the State Governor’s commitment and readiness to fulfil his electoral promises made to the good people of the State during the last gubernatorial campaign election in 2019.

The Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who was described as an hardworking and selfless leader was said to have implemented many projects across the three senatorial district of the State.

The Transition Chairman of Yewa South Local Government, Alhaji Rahmon Fagbenro who gave the assurance during the installation of Iyaloja of Ilaro, Alhaja Riskat Idowu as Asiwaju Adinni of Ilaro Central Mosque in Ilaro, pointed out that the Governor on assumption of office upgraded the State hospital, Ilaro including the renovation of three primary health centres in the area.

Alh. Fagbenro further said that the Governor is currently working on Owode/Ilaro road, adding that dilapidated structures in every primary and secondary schools in each wards of the area have been renovated.

“I congratulate our new Asiwaju Adinni of Ilaro Central Mosque. It is a worthy and well deserved honour. Let me use this opportunity to remind us that our Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun will fulfil all his electoral promises. Our Governor is an hardworking Governor who has been working round the clock to put smiles on the faces of all citizens of the State.

“Part of what he has done is the upgrading of the State hospital, Ilaro and renovation of some Primary health centres. He had also renovated dilapidated structures in every primary and secondary schools in each wards of Yewa South Local Government and other Local Governments of the State.

“Be assured that Prince Dapo Abiodun will fulfil his electoral promises and will make our state an enviable to others”, Alh. Fagbenro posited.

Delivering lecture at the event, the guest lecturer who is also the Deputy Chief Imam in Ogun State, Sheikh Uthman Amode implored the new Asiwaju Adinni to be more humble and use her new position for the progress of Islam.

The guest lecturer urged Ilaro Muslims to give adequate support to Alh. Idowu and assist her in order to achieve success in her new position with prayer that Allah would grant her wisdom and knowledge needed to lead members of the Central Mosque right.

In her vote of thanks, the new Asiwaju Adinni, Alhaja Riskat Idowu who appreciated Allah and Muslim leaders in Yewa South Local Government for the honour done on her, promised that she would use her new office for propagations and progress of Islam.
