The Wife of Ogun State Governor and Founder AJOSE FOUNDATION, Mrs Bamidele ABIODUN has expressed commitment to work with Development experts towards quality service delivery to the people.
Mrs ABIODUN said this in Abeokuta while playing host to the leadership of Civil Society Coalition on Sustainable Development (CSCSD)
According to her, development practitioners from the Civil Society, Academia and Media has the expertise needed in data gathering, monitoring and Evaluation which are vital to measure impact of programmes and interventions.
Mrs ABIODUN who enumerated her various interventions covering Children Nutrition and Breast feeding campaign, Care for the elderly and Women empowerment for sustainable livelihood.
She said her AJOSE FOUNDATION is working with partners to improve Water and Sanitation in markets as well as Establishment of a community primary school in Ofeda Local Government.
The first lady commended CSCSD for synergizing with Government and other Stakeholder to raise the standard of governance quality engagement.
Earlier, the CSCSD Media and Public Relations Officer, Apostle Tola Adenekan noted that the organisation has established a Youth SDG group, set up 5 Thematic Groups of intervention as well as compilation of a Compedium of CSO intervenes on COVID 19 Pandemic.
In her submission, the State coordinator of Network of Women Peace and Security in ECOWAS, Ms Moji AKINSANYA stressed the need for the inclusion of Women in all intervention addressing Conflict since they are most vulnerable.
She said ECOWAS through the organization will be supporting the State in empowering Women in Conflict after the launch in April.
Other development leaders during the visit including Prof Hellen Bodunde, Dr Tope Olaifa, Mrs Olatunji and Prof Comfort Onifade harped on the need for more sensitization on Peace and Conflict resolution for the Citizenry.
